Luisella Traversi Guerra

Luisella Traversi Guerra was born on July 21, 1944 in Borgonovo V.T. (Piacenza). She is a painter and writer. Having spent part of her childhood in Paris, back in Italy, she graduated and married early. With dedication and enthusiasm, for many years she ran the Management and Enhancement of Human Resources department of the family business, demonstrating how fundamental creativity, passion, and an appreciation of beauty and quality of manufacturing are in every sphere of human life.
She earned decades of experience in behavioral analysis and developed the innovative Total Quality process for implementation in the work environment. She has spoken at important conferences and written extensively on the subject of training, and how to continuously cultivate not only professional skills but also and above all personal qualities through self-knowledge and a process of self-training.
President of a charitable association until 2022, she actively worked for the preparation and training of young people. The experience of being a mother to five children and a grandmother to nine grandchildren has enhanced her creative potential and has often acted as the laboratory from which her stories are inspired. Under the pseudonym of Nonna Gella, she has broadcast 50 of her fairy tales on youtube. In 2016 and 2017, she exhibited at a stand at Lilliput, a fair dedicated to children.
Over the years, she has published volumes of managerial training, books of poems, short stories, fairy tales and monographs of her vast pictorial production (www.ltgatelier.com) .

  • For the unpublished novel “Sospesa nel tempo” she won second place at the Concorso Letterario 2022 Franco Ciliberti
  • Award of merit for the collected poems: “Epifania dell’ascolto”, Venilia Editrice at the Concorso 2022 “100 anni di Jack Kerouac”, sezione D) for published poetry.
  • For “Sanpietrino e il Segreto della Valle Oscura” she won four awards; the “Diploma d’Onore”, award of honour, at the Premio Internazionale Michelangelo Buonarotti 2022; the “Premio Speciale Favole” from Pegasus Mendrisio 2021, “Premio Speciale Romanzo Ragazzi” from the Concorso Internazionale Le Grazie Porto Venere La Baia dell’Arte” (2021) and the Bronze Medal at the Premio Firenze Mario Conti (2021)
  • Came second in 2017 for the Premio Letterario Milano International, in the category of unpublished works with “Storie Per tutti”
  • Won the 2016 “Fiorino d’argento” at the XXXIV edition of the Premio Firenze with the story “Il viaggio di Kalim”
